To ensure students have the capacity to undertake this qualification, applicants are required to demonstrate appropriate Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) skills and meet the minimum academic and English requirements outlined below. All applicants will undertake an LLN assessment to identify any need for additional learning support and to confirm that support requirements can be met by the college.

International Students

Age requirement

Students must be 18 years of age or older at the time of application.

English language requirement

Applicants must meet ONE of the following:

  • IELTS Academic 6.0, or
  • PTE Academic 50, or
  • TOEFL iBT 60, or
  • Successful completion of a qualification delivered in English (minimum 12 months duration), or
  • Completion of an approved English language course.

Academic requirement

Applicants must meet one of the following academic criteria:

  • Satisfactory completion of studies equivalent to Australian Year 12 in the applicant’s home country, OR
  • Successful completion of a qualification from an institution where the mode of instruction was English and the course duration was at least 12 months

COURSE DURATION

This qualification is delivered over a total duration of 104 weeks, comprising:

  • 80 weeks of scheduled training and assessment delivery
  • 24 weeks of scheduled term breaks and holidays

The course structure is designed to provide learners with sufficient time to develop advanced theoretical knowledge, practical ICT skills, and industry-relevant competencies aligned with vocational and professional outcomes.
