Age requirement
Students must be 18 years of age or older at the time of application.
English language requirement
Applicants must meet ONE of the following:
- IELTS Academic 6.0, or
- PTE Academic 50, or
- TOEFL iBT 60, or
- Successful completion of a qualification delivered in English (minimum 12 months duration), or
- Completion of an approved English language course.
Academic requirement
Satisfactory completion of studies equivalent to an Australian Diploma or Advanced Diploma-level qualification, from any field aligned with management or related disciplines.
LLN Requirement
All learners must undertake an LLN assessment to identify learning support needs.
Course Duration
This qualification is delivered over a total duration of 52 weeks, comprising:
- 40 weeks of scheduled training and assessment delivery
- 12 weeks of scheduled term breaks and holidays
The course includes:
a minimum of 20 contact hours per week of classroom-based study, and 4 hours per week of self-directed learning activities.
This study structure is designed to support academic progression and assist international students in meeting student visa study requirements.
Delivery Location
This qualification is delivered through face-to-face classroom-based training at AGIT’s Perth campus.
Course Duration Variation
The overall course duration may be reduced for eligible students who receive:
Credit Transfer (CT), or Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) for previously completed studies, skills, or relevant industry experience.
Training Structure & Packaging Rules
To achieve the BSB50420 Diploma of Leadership and Management, students must successfully complete a total of 12 units of competency.
Elective units are selected in accordance with the qualification packaging rules and are aligned with:
